Quote of the day
Laura to Lora: You don't nome me!
(followed by uncontrollable laughing which causes the whole dinner group to pause for five minutes)
Laura: are we guilty of levity?

I can't seem to take off the slanty font so deal with it.
On Thursday night (there we go slanty off!) I tried to get a hold of my friend Andrew like 30 times to come to sushi with Jessica and I because he orders for us... but to no avail he never turned on his phone, so we were on our own when ordering. I love sushi ya it is on state street in Orem by the old bowling alley. When you first walk in it's dark and there is a quaint fish pond to your right with Koi and Turtles. The first time I took Jessica I told her she got to pick out which fish she wanted from the pond before they prepared it, she believed me for 3 seconds gullible! So we sat down and I was a little nervous because you don't want to look stupid when ordering sushi! so we ordered nigiri first which is just raw fish on top of rice and so flippin good!
So my friends Ben and Brannae have started a tradition of having these dinners on Friday the 13 where you eat the messiest food with no hands or utensils. Last month was fun but this month there were 5 more people who were boys which just make the whole experience way more fun and Beth made it this time so it was even better! Its awkward to start eating with your face because you don't want to seem like a messy eater that is so un-kosher in our society so it takes a little while to get used to the fact that you are going to get really messy. Through out dinner there were various slurping noises and giggles from all corners of the table and as people got used to eating face down in their plates it got way crazy especially my neighbor Alex, Brannae's brother.
How fun! The sushi looked really good... especially with pickled ginger.
