Jennie and a Pie Bird

I'm writing my first article for the UVU review this next paper and I'm kind of nervous. I'm worried it's going to fail and I'm going to be mocked for being a terrible writer. However the pictures should look great! My first article will be on Jennie from the Truffle Cottage, because I'm comfortable with her and love her.

She doesn't like this angle, can you tell!? SO CUTE though.

Life has been so busy lately, but not too busy for PIE!

I got this little pie bird from amazon because I was interested in the difference it would make during the cooking process, it's supposed to eliminate juices leaking, brown crust and look really cute. It worked great, and even sucked the crust tight to the pie filling. I laughed pretty hard when I put the crust over the top of the little bird because it looked so funny.

This was not one of my favorite pies, I prefer sour cherries in my pie, but AJ loved it. The white crusty things are tapioca, they suck up extra juice too.

I will be getting tons of these to give out at christmas, they come in all different colors and are just so cute!
