Thought I was preggo huh? Tee hee. I'll do anything for blog traffic apparently.
I've been interviewing for job after job after job for this summer, and I haven't been able to find a good fit. However, I think I may end up working with Andrew's company D1 doing claims again, and might be able to make my own schedule, because in order to get a scholarship I have to earn it first over the summer.
With this new found moola I'll be buying my first professional camera in the fall! A full frame D800 top o' the line Nikon, pretty darn snazzy. My D90 has been good to me and I'll be keeping it as a back up (sorry Amykins I know you just got excited at the prospect of a hand me down ) I'm really excited for the fall! My life will be much fuller and busier which is just the way I like it :)
So. I decided it would be a great idea if we did
The Bedroom
Tah DAH!!!! Olive is super stoked she could go in the room finally.
I love it! It turned out much better than I thought it would. Whew.
From Drab to FAB!
Living Room
The living room was ridiculous, it's small to begin with and the blah gray walls and over stuffed corners was enough to drive me mad to the point where I decided to embark on this project during finals week. Spray painted decor, two gallons and 4.5 coats of white paint later and we have our new gathering space.
Before
After!
We got rid of a couch and I packed up some of the decorations and even added a few different ones. I broke the original TV stand so I had to go to IKEA and get a new one (bummer) but I found other fun things while I was there ;)
Finally got my pottery home.
Patric Bates is one of my favorite local artists! He always gives me more posters than I order so my house is a bit of a gallery, we even have a giant poster in our room. You can find his stuff here @etsy
Bright red rug to polish it off!
Love it all! And you go girl!!! Full ride is AWESOME!!!
