The Great Salt Lake

During a short break in between a wedding and a reception, I headed over to Antelope Island to scope out the place and maybe take a few pictures here and there. 

There was a nasty rain storm and it was pretty close to dusk, so the environment was stranger than usual. Out by the Salt Lake the air is heavy and sound doesn't travel as well. Eerily silent, and because of the time and weather, I was alone.

I love LOVE how the horizon melts together.
