Well Andrew and I have been busy getting our house in order. I have been reorganizing a lot of our stuff to make room and clear out clutter before winter gets here, we are also updating our food storage and trying to make our funds last as long as we can.
Upon returning to Utah I've realised something, I LOVE IT HERE.
I know where to get the good local food, and where to get it for free if I need too. I've missed the farmers market because in Nashville a lot of the "local" food is from Georgia or North Carolina. Most of the market is growers with big gardens and apple trees, most is organic and absolutely delish. I've missed my fresh veggies. Did I mention I bought 25 lbs of peaches and most of them are currently in our freezer, they taste great in smoothies!
I bought some cute jewelry from this mom who sells her stuff to pay for her little one's Dr. Bills, pretty touching and her stuff is basically amazing. You can find her blog here and she did warn me she's a terrible blogger but a great mom and stays busy with her kiddos. So the blog isn't updated often.
You can find her and her lovely things at the Farmer's Market in Provo!
I love accordions, and accordion players.
I got a new lens, it's a 85mm 1.8 I opted for the 1.8 because of a couple of reasons, first the 1.4 is HEAVY like really heavy, and about 300 more dollars. Even though I got this lens used it still costed me 400.00...... I worked extra hours at the office in TN to pay for this lens. I will work as many jobs as I need to get more! I think anyone would.
To try and save some moola we've started our fall garden, we planted onions, spinach, peas.
ARG! He's so cute.
This man.....Is my husband. I actually think he's quite cute even though he is super sick right now, and when this picture was taken @ Sammy's in PG
My natural color is coming in, I haven't dyed my hair in about 10 months or so, I can really see the blonde highlights most days.
I'm glad you are enjoying being back. I am finally getting around to catching up on blogs and it looks like Nashville was also a cool city to hang out in for the summer.
