Dream achieved

My dear friends Rob and Janesse moved back here to Orem this week and into an apartment that another friend of mine had lived in a while ago.I went over to help with moving but instead went with Rob to choose colors for his kitchen and living room deep red for the kitchen and a corn silk for the living room. We started to paint the kitchen before Ness got home and I don't know how it happened but  somehow he offered me to paint something fun in the bathroom. I got so much more out of it that I thought I would...

That morning I was struggling, as with any woman sometimes self worth isn't always there and the past few days I was running on empty. I had prayed that I would feel good and somehow love myself so I could love others more. I thought that doing some service would perk me up a bit so I made plans with Rob and Ness. While painting I realized that I may not be a professional artist but I still am an ARTIST! My friends let me me paint anything I wanted in their bathroom trusting me that I wouldn't paint crappy or a skull with flaming eyeballs or something.  I felt a lot of emotion coming out and I was able to think deeply and reset myself a bit. Most of the painting I did with a wash cloth and my hands, the branches were done with a brush.

One of the best compliments came from my friend Logan, I was telling him about the mural and how excited I was about painting a flippin WALL! He said to me with the most honest tone and honest face  "you are amazing"  He didn't even see it!

There are a lot more pictures of friends with this as a backdrop, but the computer I am on is really slow! I will post them tomorrow on the faster computers at work.
