Good News

I took my car in today and it is only going to cost 200.00, opposed to the 500 or more I was anticipating (I tend to be a bit of a pessimist) I really like Napa Auto Repair. I have always taken it to them for what ever I need and they are always so nice! Mike the manager is not only cute and laughs at my stupid jokes, but shows me exactly what is wrong with my car. Today he brought me a spark plug with burn marks all over it stating that because I had waited too long to get it checked, I had burned out my coil as well which is where the spark plug plugs into. He showed me the carbon residue and made sure I understood my own stupidity and went about his way. So I have to replace the coil and all the spark plugs, I bet he gives me a discount, he always does. I had to leave my car there overnight because I couldn't drive it anymore so I just walked home but Mike didn't like that too much and asked me like 4 times if I needed a ride, I opted for the exercise but felt taken care of none the less. If you ever need car help these guys are super, and honest.

OK the "Laura has no filter" joke of the day:

I was looking at old National Geographic magazines I had brought in with me because I knew it would be at least a half hour. Mike had mentioned the date of 1981 on my magazine and I said "yea it's outdated, I don't really read the articles I just look at the pictures,  you know... like porn."

Ummm. Immediately I felt bright red and sheepish but he just laughed it off THANK GOODNESS! I get my car in the morning, and I am excited to not have the stinking check engine light on, blinking loudly.

I have never looked at porn by the way.
