My dear sweet Derek of whom I love, you lent me your camera out of sheer kindness and I have had a lot of artistic fun with it. On Saturday the 27 of March I took it with me to the Holi festival I was warned before hand about the dangers of the color getting into EVERY BIT of available space. I did not heed this advice and your camera is currently a mess. It will cost me 80.00 to fix it, but no worries! It will be clean and operating upon returning it to you I promise.
I got some great pictures and it was worth it. :)
Love you
Laura.
It is brave and noble of you to admit this. If I'd found out you'd taken my camera unprotected to Holi I might not speak to you for a month of more!
ReplyDeleteGreat pics though. My favs: the one of Summer, the toddler hiding behind mom's shoulder, the yellow crowd surfer.
I think it was totally worth it... gorgeous pics! Maybe someday I'll be lucky enough to be there during the Color Festival...
ReplyDeleteDear Laura,
ReplyDeleteI am so glad that you took the camera to Holi Fest. There are some great pictures there. I am devastated to hear that the Camera took a beating and is costing $80 to fix. Don't stress about it at all. I am sure you want to fix more then I do so you can take more pictures, so I am sure you are going through more agony.I am glad that you took my advice I gave you at the very beginning and broke it so I now have an excuse to get a new one. If you do not think it is worth $80 to fix do not worry about it. Put those $80 towards a new spectacular camera for you. You are so Cute with you love for the art of photography! Lending you the camera was worth the beating it took.
Love,
Derek
