Her name is Trixie and she is a rat. I got her because one of my clients had too many rodents. She is really cute and fun to play with, I just got her a new cage yesterday and I have never seen a rat so happy! she was hopping around and running from one spot to another, sniffing everything. Summer found her a little potty thing and she is already using it! I gave her an empty toilet paper roll and she drags it from one end of the cage to the other! I even got her one of those balls you put them in that was more than entertaining! It is kind of like a little play pin and she can roll around when I'm in the kitchen or sewing. She is so cute! her favorite place is down my shirt, she hangs out down there most of the time I'm holding her. she is still just a baby so in a few months I'm pretty sure I won't have a full grown rat down my shirt! anyway just adding to the ark I guess I have a frog too his name is bootstrap, and we have about 10 molly gold fish that are also in my room.
Did you ever see the movie Paper Moon? One of the main characters works for the circus in a girly show- her name is Miss Trixie Delight. I thought of that when you mentioned your rat's new name.
