Recently

My semester is going LOADS better than it was a few weeks ago, I feel that I'm out of my rut and getting better with my photography, and dealing with the trials and everything that comes with it. I was noticing in one of my classes another photographer that I thought was a really strong shooter, was struggling with the critiques as well, he really does great with most of his photos and he is just...in a rut right now. I think that made me feel better overall to see someone else going through a similar process and I'm really not alone in this!

Documentary Photo-

I decided to get to know Evan down at the local barber shop! 

A couple of days ago my editor over at the newspaper texted me and asked if I could go shoot a couple of restaurants we were featuring in our magazine HEX, but it was uber last minute. HECK YES I COULD! I think I'm terrible at sports (what I usually shoot), but food and culture is what I'm accustomed to. It was super fun to get behind the scenes and shoot while people were prepping!
