Well guess what?! I washed my smart phone now it's not so smart anymore. In that fateful wash,I lost all of my awesome pictures of Amy and Christina, my friends from Kingman who came down to help me set up the rest of the house and give it that cute Amykins touch. Every time I visit Kingman Amy's house is so cute and adorable! I'm so lucky to have a talented friend such as AMAY who has been learning how to decorate homes for the last 10 years. She has style, and an eye for design when it comes to the home. The only thing I had available for insta photos were my....intsta photos! So I took these polaroids to give some kind of visual. I will send these photos to my mom since she doesn't really do the computer thing so it's not a total waste of photos!
Living room:
I love how things are placed and there is some order to the craziness of combining our stuff. The picture frames were all from ikea and the photos were literally art projects that were in the trash, they're gorgeous! The large frame has my insta photos pinned to it and there is a special spot for my camera's on the inset shelves. The wall hanging is a souvenir from Mexico and is hung by clothes pins on tore up fabric to make a banner-ish decor.
Kitchen:
We had bought the white shelves from ikea a while ago for all of AJ's cooking things but we still needed more space. The kitchen is very small so Amy and I built shelves (board with fruit) for a little added space and Amy hooked us up with some floating shelves for Andrew's spices and an empty shelf above for ingredients he needs during cooking.
Since I get to do dishes most days I got a girly station with my bottles, some sparkly scarves, and a few tin trays I tend to collect. I love how it makes our kitchen a little more personal with quirky wall decor.
Christina!
My Amy!
