When there is nothing else to do and the weather is fine, go for a walk!!
Downtown has antique stores galore and lots of transients, not to mention a way cool Catholic church!
This was Amy's cool doorbell in the middle of her front door.
Creepy antique clown
Nighttime downtown, that's Amy above
Kingman had these flowers in DECEMBER! I love warm weather!
We usually go thrift store shopping while I'm in town, we really didn't find much. This couch was "in the back" if you get my drift.
The Catholic church near where I stayed had all these ethereal statues that I really loved.
Sustenance! Everyone goes to circle K for a quick fix.
Antique piano at an antique store that used to be a theater.
Old motel "El Trovatore" my mom used to work here ages ago before it closed.
The dried lake I wanted to take pictures of so bad but didn't get there in time. SO this is last fading light and I am OK with it.
What Kingman looks like from my parents house, see all the black at the bottom? That's empty desert, they live out in the boonies. You can see every star though, and there are tons of BUNNIES! While I was driving back to town on the dirt road (that changes every time it rains into mini grand canyons, so you really have to be on your guard) there were these cute cotton tailed bunnies that would run out in front of my car every so often and every time I would yell BUNNY! uh...even when I was by myself.
I love that one of our doorbell...
ReplyDeleteAnd, this is why I don't like you taking pictures of me. What the heck is that one and what am I doing? Who am I baring my teeth at?
I would also just like to say that I went to post my comment, and my word verification was "poofly"
ReplyDeleteI love it when you bare you're teeth!
