This is why I will stay in one place for years. I don't like moving books, clothes, furniture, food and all the piddly little things that get in the way. I end up giving away half my wardrobe because I don't like moving it all! This moving experience was nicer though because my friends Logan and Sara were able to help me, they have a truck and they know how to use it!
So they came on Friday the 31 and in 18 degree weather trudging through snow and ice, they helped move me! And I am so grateful to them!
The new place! It has a red door...
My room, it's small but there is lots of storage.
living room and dining room, all the walls are different colors! I love it!
kitchen stuff
On the back porch
After I moved in it took a couple of days but I am finally settled! It looks cluttered but feels like home.
Take a vintage skirt 20 sizes too small for you, add vintage apron = cool wall
Thank you home depot for contributing your paint sample cards.
If I don't control myself I will put googly eyes on everything! I have a slew of these old Hawaiian vacation photos and I have big plans!
My dad and his big catch!
Trixie is happy too, she went exploring and found our new room suitable, though she says she's disappointed in the lack of hidy holes and secret entrances to the other rooms.
