Life is pretty hectic...

Lately I have been on a strict schedule work, home, sew for two hours, school, home, paint, bed. I am tired! I dropped a shift for work and picked up a Sat shift. I will be doing Market every other Saturday instead of every week. That way I get caught up on things and get to see movies and have friend time. I had a pretty awesome weekend though finally!

Friday:
Andrew and I worked all afternoon making strange concoctions such as a zucchini peach berry souffle and cupcakes for a toga party at Liann's house. I stopped by Tailor Made and bought some cool bangles and a laurel leaf headband for Andrew. He looked awesome and I looked pretty awesome too, Andrew said I looked like Minerva Goddess of Wisdom....I was OK with that she must have been hot haha. I like a doofus forgot my camera! After the party Andrew and I went up in the canyon for some end of warmish weather stargazing, you would be amazed at how much you can see with a simple pair of binoculars, we saw tons in the whole 10 mins we gazed cause the rest of the time was used trying to find a comfortable spot to stay warm and then some wrestling where as always I got my trashed kicked. He literally flung me over him a few times and caused grass stains, so fun!

Saturday:

Went with Andrew to see 9 it was pretty cool not something I would buy though. It was the story of Machine vs Man = war and death blah blah blah. We then went home and made some potato onion soup DELISH!

Sunday: wonderful day at church I was mildly hormonal so I like cried when people said hi to me and such. Andrew afterwards gave me a lesson in math that I actually got. He decided to start tutoring me to give me a bit of a head start, and has been bugging me about it for a month. I really don't think I could have gotten a better friend.

OK Monday:

I have been assigned to take a crew of Adults with Disabilities to Aspen Elementary for an hour while they clean up after the kids during lunch, and TODAY was Chinese day. I love talking to the kids they are so innocent and sweet and I think they really like me because I am always getting into conversations with these wee ones. Maybe it's because I act more like them all wild and crazy like, plus I never match, so essentially I look like them too. One boy always comes up to me and says "hey, how you doin?" it's cute. I had mentioned to a couple of kids that I was collecting fortune cookie fortunes and next thing I knew I had kids from every end of the lunch room giving me their fortunes! I ended up with 25 way quicker than if I had eaten 25 meals from panda, ewe. So I shall do something artsy with them. Here are a few:

"your laugh and enthusiasm pleases those around you"

"you have and active mind and a keen imagination" hmm

"you are a bundle of energy, always on the go" sounds good for those kids!

"Fortune cookie say: your sensitivity is an asset." Not really cause I cry over the lamest things.

Monday Night:
Spent 2 glorious hours at the library reading two chapters of my geology book, I don't want to hear ANYTHING about tectonic plates or lithospheres, my brain may implode.

I hate FHE, I really don't like it because it can be time consuming and awkward.

I had so much fun tonight at FHE! I got called to make sure I was coming! So sweet, then we had an awesome lesson and played wallyball in the RB for an hour AND Hot guys took me to and from the RB AND they asked me to go with them NO CHASING FOR LAURA...tee hee. I wish I wasn't so self conscious I could have been cooler but whatever those are always afterthoughts. I played a mean wally, in a skirt even.
This all may seem a bit superficial but I haven't really gone and done anything super cool other than hang with Andrew, School, church etc. SO until I do something uber cool I will just be reading Y'all blogs!!

  1. I am so sad that you weren't able to get a picture of Andrew in a toga. I couldn't think of anything else that would have been more awesome. Also, I like that I learn more about my brother's whereabouts from your blog than I do from talking to him. Thanks, keep it up.
