some big changes

35.00: admissions
1000.00: tuition
20.00: Parking permit in lot V
100.00 *at least*: in books

Realizing one's potential? priceless.

That's right *SIGH* I signed up for school this semester. I will continue to work both jobs and do the farmers market. I am paying for school myself because:
1. I can.
2. I will appreciate it more.
Some of you may not know this but I have gone to school before, NAU only for a year I though it was two, that's how long its been! Anyway I am officially a student at Utah Valley University, I signed up for 2 classes English and Geology just to get into the swing of things. I am planning on radiology, I think I would enjoy that. No, I do not want to work with adult disability my whole life, just as I got to work this morning I was drooled on, the prospect of that happening on a daily basis alone was enough motivation to start school. Also I have had the vision of me selling things on the street dressed in rags, "Corncobs and candle wax for the buying!!!"
Actually with school I could achieve a small house near the ocean, with a garden, a cat and friends on the weekends. I will work hard and try to finish hopefully I can hack this! On a better note when I took my placement test today, my test scores were off the chart literally, the advisor said she had never seen scores that high and I must have gotten every answer right....for English anyway which surprised me! I am terrible at grammar. Math was a whole different story, though I was surprised at how much I remembered. I wish they would have tested science as well, that would have been more interesting for me. I start on the 26 of August.

  2. i wish you all the luck in the world! congrats on your placement test score... i basically assigned myself homework for a month before doing my placement test, using scott's old school books, just to ensure i would score well enough.
