My dear Debbie passed away this morning, it was sudden and quick I think. She had a heart condition and was told almost 2 years ago she had 6 months. She proved everyone wrong and lived life to the fullest, she was happy, loving (most of the time) and had a soul of gold. I loved her very much, but I know I will get to see her again.
Congratulations on your graduation Debbie Darth Vader! I hope it was all you imagined it would be.

Possibly the COOLEST Trip I've ever been on.... The Spiral Jetty
My photography class got together and had a field trip to the Spiral Jetty.
We drove up in a 12 passenger bus a 1979 chevy with living room furniture in the back for seats, no belts, but great conversations, snacks, glow bracelets, and snapshots.
Taken with expired crap film of varied speeds using my Lomo Fisheye, my Golden Half, and my trusty Pentax.
The "hoopty"
My favorite was watching the boys load furniture into the back of the bus!
Some people got stuck out on the lake and there were posts staked everywhere from an old oil pumping station...thing.
The Jetty!
Fantastic.

Holga
Crossed processed.....but I may have broke my rules and messed with them digitally so I could actually see the image. Usually it's just saturating color or flipping to B/W, I was against fiddling with film in a digital program until my film teacher Barb said that the photographers of past would have loved to have a go at such things like photoshop and I should use all my tools for the best artistic image, she totally changed my mind.
Even though I do keep it to a minimum.
The first half are around Utah, Half are from Kingman over Christmas.
