2. I started the garden with Andrew and Liann behind Andrew's house we planted potatoes, onions, beets, strawberries, asparagus. We will plant a bunch more in a few weeks.
3. I found a bunch of really far out fabric from Savers and DI
4. Actually started making the bags I have made 3 so far and they AINT TO BAD!
5. Finally got Summer's cold now we are both pretty bed ridden me more than her because she is getting over it.
6. Learned all about the Co-op on Saturday which is totally rad! and I want to volunteer someday.

SO ya I guess that's it for now! short blog today because I just needed to do something other than sew or read.

best days ever!

ok real word of the day: Prosopagnosia inability to recognize familiar faces.....that would suck!!

quote of the day:
Amy: I think the Hunan Buffet would be good for you since you're on your period!

listening to: Sun Always Shines On T.V~Ah-Ha

SO Arizona was fun I flew into Vegas where Amy picked me
up in the morning of Monday the 13, we decided to do the Vegas thing, you know walk up and down the strip refusing porn at 9 in the morning! we stopped for lunch at the Planet Hollywood where I attempted to take pictures of my beautiful Amy but she wasn't to happy about that, afterwards we walked around the bellagio

and checked out the gardens which were amazing and smelled divine! After we decided to walk back to the car we ran into a couple of Chip~n~Dales and I wanted to take a pic but they were copyrighted so I settled for an Elvis Impersonator. We headed home and chilled at her house for most of the week. I got to spend a ton of time with her little girl Alena we had a blast talking all about girly things and jumping on the trampoline. I had gotten my period while I was there and anyone who knows me best knows that I talk about it and complain *to boys who are reading this I am so sorry! * well I had complained of cramps all day Wednesday and Alena had picked up the habit by saying that she had cramps too and you just have to watch the video to find out how cute 6 year old girls can be,

I have been into collecting Vintage camera's lately I started off with a brownie but Am
y had further supported my fetish by picking up 3 more camera's 2
of which were cool old Polaroid and a 1928 pop out agfa ansco. This is the Polaroid,
So on one of the days Amy and I decided to head to a cafe and have some drinks and some lunch while we were there and she took a pic of me and thought I looked funny, I have no
idea what she is talking about
afterward she decided to head to the pound where we saw lots of cute animals even though I cried at the sight of them this one was real cute

so ya I have one more video of Amy's brother clay having his nipples waxed by me of course but the blog doesnt like it for some reason so another day....

oh I'm sure you have noticed the cool pic of me on a motorcycle with Carlos *I rolled my tongue* anyway he took me home today on his bike and I kissed him passionately on the head. I have a little crush.

in arizona

so this is gonna be a short blog without all the hum drum of photos and random quotes. I am sitting in my hometown of Kingman and it is really really windy. I cannot keep my hair in one place! but I have to just say I bought a wonderful perfect dress for a dollar at a thrift store. It is 50's style black with polka dots perfectly modest and fits me like my own skin. I will never feel fat in this dress, I will always feel cute, and I have a sneaking feeling that it will boost confidences as well. Also I found another vintage dress but it is a few sizes too small, but it was only a dollar and you can find the same thing at coal umbrella for 20 so why not right? I can dream. OOOH and I found some funky material and cool scarves for my handbags that I plan on making as one of the items to be sold at the farmers market this summer. I got the application to sell at the farmers market it's 17$ for each Saturday or you can pay a base fee of like 150$ for the season which is June~October, I haven't decided yet but 2 Saturdays a month seems good to me, that way I have time to make stuff and not get all stressed if I can't come up with enough stuff la la la.

OK so funny...Amy had to leave to pick up her daughter just now and I offered to stay here with Alena (other kid) and she was like "OK but the yard guy is here and he will be done soon can you give him this check?" I of course obliged and she says "he is really good looking" so I thought hmmm I better put on my new dress....and fix my hair....and ooohh red lipstick! I love flirting with the help!

I will post pics when I get back to Utah there is a cool one of me and Elvis I almost got one with me and a chip n dales guy but "they're copyrighted" besides those guys are all gross anyway I talked to one yesterday in Vegas and I didn't look at his body only his eyes I hope I changed his life, I gave him a book of Mormon and was like "seek the light!"

Just kidding.

love!

I MADE CHEESE!

Word of the Day: Boxset Bully

Person who pushes you to watch huge quantities of their favorite TV show by offering to lend you the massive DVD boxset.

Applies to: Lost, The Wire, Band of Brothers, Battlestar Galactica, West Wing, Heroes , Dexter, Fa
mily Guy etc

No, I've not seen The Wire. I'm sure the script is superb, but I'm not willing to spend a week watching all 60 episodes, you boxset bully.

Quote of the Day:

Laura: I have a stomach ache.
Summer: Maybe some how some where a dog that you used to own is being beaten.

Quote of last night

*after giving a dollar to a homeless man on university on a very cold night*

Summer: have a nice night! .....Well that sounded STUPID!

Listening to : MY GIRL by the TEMPTATIONS

I MADE CHEESE! yup folks It finally worked. I had tried a couple of weeks ago and it didn't fly I couldn't talk about it for 2 days I was so disappointed! On Monday night I managed to make not only ricotta cheese but mozzarella as well! It starts with a gallon of local milk or any pasteurized whole milk you pick up just make sure it's not ultra pasteurized. For ricotta all you need to add is citric acid and cook up to 195 degrees and then let curdle for 10 Min's, then you spoon it out and let it drain for a half hour in cheese cloth *simple*

Mozzarella not so easy you start with whole milk and cook to 90 degrees and then you add citric acid and vegetable rennet and let stand for about 10 Min's after it curdles put it back on the stove and cook it up to 110 degrees stirring the curdles like so...mmmmm curds n whey

anyhow after you cook these tasty curds you gotta ladle them into a colander and strain off the whey, after that you place the curds in a "hot water bath" now I'm sure you're thinking oh how nice well its not! soooo hot! the water has to be at least 180 in order for the cheese to be hot enough to stretch and I was tearing up because it was burning my hands but I was super happy! you are looking at a very pleased with herself Lalo! Mostly because I finally got it to stretch! like taffy. I plan on getting really good at making cheese and selling it at the farmers market this summer along with my bread and any other tasty treats, the Carr's have a machine that can make your own soy milk and I got uber excited about that! The people who head up the farmers market in town live next door to me so I am excited to be a part of the community for reels!

Last night Summer and I went to the Gallery walk and I love it! All sorts of artsy fartsy people come out and show off some really awesome art! I have a lot of friends that I run into on a regular basis and it's nice to keep in touch with people on an artistic level I find that there are so many types of personalities and styles it really is fun just to mingle. Here are some pics I took at the Penny royal cafe....

and a place called the Coal Umbrella boutique

Travis the Dreamboat he is a dishy bloke! he was a sweetie, and on the UVU rugby team...just sayin. and he so gave me a hug! initiated it and everything.
